Lost River Cave

Hi, I'm the Flyingfishman. Join me as I explore the natural beauty of my home state...Kentucky and other wilderness areas. I live in Louisville, which puts me about 2 hours away from one of my favorite places...Red River Gorge. No matter where I travel, it's always great to get back to my home in Louisville. When I get home I can share my adventures with you. Stop in from time to time and I'll have more to share. Click on the links on the left for trip pics.

"The Flyingfishman- He's sort of like Dick Proenneke... with a lot more friends."

"David Fisher's site with some outstanding photos. Excellent photo essay of a hike to Timmons Arch and Adena Arch, two spectacular but seldom-seen arches in the region. Other arches and features are also covered. This is one of those "must click" websites if you are headed to RRG." ---SLACKPACKER.COM

If you see acts of vandalism in the Red River Gorge ...call the area Forest Ranger at 606-663-8100. Acts of vandalism include but are not limited to: Building a fire, camping or rappelling on an arch. Fire building or camping on an archeological site. Dumping of any kind. You get the idea. Let's help keep these buttheads on the run.
